Co-Presidents
The Co-Presidents are responsible for overseeing the Executive Board and general LaLSA functions, including organizing general body meetings, coordinating with the larger NYU Law community, and leading the general body. Private Sector Professional Development Chairs
The Private Professional Development Chairs (PPDs) provide students with the resources and opportunities to pursue careers in private practice. The PPD Chairs also serve as the liaison between LaLSA and private law firms. Academic Chairs
The Academic Chairs provide LaLSA students have the tools to succeed academically at the law school, including by matching students with mentors, planning panels to help students navigate law school, and managing the LaLSA library and outline bank. Admissions Chairs
The Admissions Chairs plan events and provide support for newly admitted students who identify as Latinx. For inquiries about applying to NYU Law and joining LaLSA as an incoming or prospective student, please contact our Admissions Chairs at nyulalsa.admissions@gmail.com.
Alumni Chair
The Alumni Chair leads the alumni gala committee in planning the annual alumni gala and serves as the liaison between LaLSA and LaLSA alumni. Alumni looking to support LaLSA may direct their communications to nyulalsa.alumni@gmail.com.
Communications Chair
The Communications Chair manages LaLSA’s weekly e-newsletter, social media presence, and website. They are the main point of communication when advertising events, scholarships, and professional development opportunities to the membership. PUBLIC INTEREST & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT CHAIRs
The Public Interest & Community Engagement Chairs provide resources and opportunities for students interested in pursuing public interest careers. The Chairs also work to build political consciousness on campus around Latinx issues. Social Chairs

Treasurer

Representatives
LaLSA is also proud to involve 1L, LLM, transfer, and 3L students on the Executive Board. LLM students, transfer students, 3L students, and each 1L Section will be able to vote for representatives to be their voice on the Executive Board at the beginning of each school year.
